Eco Lodge
The Eco Lodge is situated on a gentle hill slope close to the top of Mount Pleasant. We are at the edge of the rainforest, so there is a splendid variety of greenery and an abundance of forest life. Our location is a bird watcher's paradise, and so you’re almost certain to see the Oriole, Montserrat’s national bird.
From the Lodge, a trail connects to the Oriole walkway which is part of the Central Hills trail system
Our 4 acres (1.6 hectare) site is mostly forested and provides shade to the camp sites.
The sparkling fresh water comes straight from the Central Hills and is amongst the best of the Caribbean.
Electricity is supplied from solar panels (charging batteries) and converted to 110 V.
We have Wifi available, just bring your laptop. You are also welcome to use our office PC.
Entering our site, you can see that we produce our own home-grown vegetables which we can share with you (when available), as well as mangoes, paw-paws, oranges and limes from our fruit trees.
Going further up the hill is the Activity Centre, a place for our guests to get together and swop experiences of life on this very special island. (available as of Oct 09).
The next landmark is Harmony Cottage, fully self contained. Going deeper into the forest you have our twelve camp sites.
For our guests staying in tents, we have shower and compost toilet facilities available on the camp site
